Zaida called me to remind me it has been 1 year since Jasper took his journey. She will be having a prayer meeting for him on Ma4ch 14th at her house. Im sorry i dont remember the address, I just know how to get there

Wow, does not seem that long ago.
Miss that guy, site hasn't been the same w/out him.
Still one of the best sps tanks I've seen, and one heck of a nice guy w/ lots of good exp and advice always at the ready.

It's nice that many local's are carrying on his lineaged corals. For instance, my pink table, green slimer, garf bonsai, and a hunk of that red with blue rim chalice that he threw in as a freebie during one of the two sales, are thriving in my tank. He was a stellar, stand-up guy and a very accomplished hobbiest. He is missed and in my prayers.

I miss Jasper. Although we only met two years ago, he was such a great presence at reef meetings, always willing to share his knowledge and provide advice. He taught Cathy how to frag & mount soft corals. I remember Jasper at Tim's "heart attack survival" BBQ party in the fall of 2008, a happy time for both of them.

I was just talking about Jasper two days ago with Joseph(nanoreefbro). It is crasy that it was a year ago. I will always have a piece of jasper in my tank and in my memories. Great member... and an even better friend! Prayers go out to Zaida and Jr.!

some Orange Rics, a big green Bali slimer. It was huge, shaped like a saguaro cactus, and another piece i cant quite remember right now. i will have to think on it.

Im not sure if it is easy to find those piece at Birch since the guy said they had alot and actually only had space for three pieces. That slimer was distnctive in its shape and he did state they didnt have any Rics, so the orange ones they have should be Jaspers
