Emerald crabs

Are emerald crabs "reef safe"? I have seen arguments both on both sides. some saying absolutely not and others saying no problem. I have that small grape Caulerpa that's hard to remove manually...any experience with emerald crabs or ways to remove the Caulerpa?

I've never had any problems with my emerald crabs eating corals. I've also had great experience with them eating bubble algae, but nothing with caulerpa

go with smaller ones, the large ones tend to be more problematic in my opinion. However, it's always a gamble with anything we put into our reefs.

Mine did great on the bubble algae, but once he cleaned the tank up and got bigger he went after my nem
