      Help , some corals diying

My frogspawn, hammer, and brain look like they are diying. The frogspawn and hammer have shrunk into their tubes but i can still see some soft tissue left, and my brain has started shrinking and the skin is receding and is starting to expose the skeleton. I tested my water, im not really sure about what im doing when it comes to testing. but these are the results i got

      KH - 14
      ALK - 5
      Ammonia - under .25
      Nitrate - 100
Calcium - not sure I had to add 1.5 mL's of the CA-3 reagent in the test to get the sample water to turn clear blue.

      I used all salifert tests.

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Do a water change asap. nitrates are very high. How big is your tank, what kind and how many fish do you have? Are you over feeding?

Not sure what test kits you're using but here are the recommended parameters from liveaquaria.com. Given that you're showing ammonia and nitrate levels suggests something large died or an over-feeding occurred. Remove whatever it is and start water changes immediately if not sooner...

      Good luck!

      Specific Gravity 1.023 - 1.025
      Temperature 72 - 78°F
      pH 8.1 - 8.4
      Alkalinity 8 - 12 dKH
      Ammonia (NH3) Undetectable
      Nitrite (NO2) Undetectable
      Nitrate - Nitrogen (NO3) < 1.0 ppm
      Phosphate (PO4) < 0.2 ppm
      Calcium 350 - 450 ppm
      Magnesium 1250 - 1350 ppm
      Iodine 0.06 - 0.10 ppm
      Strontium 8 - 14 ppm

Definetly a water change to get your nitrates down.

What is your alk 5 or 14?
And If I remember correctly your calcium is way high at 1.5ml your calcium would be 750.

It seems like your parameters are off, what are you dosing in your tank?
Are the stats in your signature correct?
What are the drip and bubble rate on your calcium reactor?

The tank in my signature is not up at the time. This is in my 30g tank. I just did a 6g water change and will do more tomorrow night, i have to go get scripps. How do I raise my alk. I think I over did it with the 2 part dosing. I have 1 yellow tang, 1 blue hippo, 1 goby, 1 psychadelic madarin, 2 damsels, in the tank. I feed them spectrum pellets

A yellow tang and a blue hippo in a 30g will definately raise your nitrates. Sounds you were a little off on your 2 part dosing and gave more of less of the 1st part and more of the 2nd part. I've been guilty of the same thing in the past before, trying to get my calcium up, but as you can see, it goes up too fast. This will also throw your ph off. BTW, what is your ph at anyways?

might wanna check that out after your next water change. I've got a ph test you can borrow if you need to.
