Ebay Auctions - Ends Saturday Night after Lakers/Magic Game 2!

I think it's unfortunate not for the bidders on the auctions, but for the seller. These auctions obviously would have gone for higher had the listings been working. It appears that the listings are working now, but there are still winners on them even during the system error.

The auctions didnt register during the error so im pretty sure there was no winner for those...

As much as I would love to take my auction at the price I won it at, my auction was also one of the ones that went down during the system error. It's a great price and I'm down to pick up my great deal, but I'm sure my auction would have gone for more had it not been down. Is it really fair for ebay to force the seller to sell these? I don't think $4 for a coral that would normally go for $80 is fair... We'll see what happens and if ebay cancels all the winners

Majority did sell, 10 got canceled by ebay. Not sure what to do.

Umm... $7 for a metallic yellow fungia plate and $15 for a medium sized grade A acan colony. I will give you a great deal for these, but at this kind of price, I might as well PIF them I know you already paypaled, if we can work out something, that would be appreciated.

wow, how old are you fish king? I hope you understand that I own a business, and that this is my livelihood, not just selling frags out of my tank for fun.

I'm talking with ebay right now for a solution. They are not much help, bouncing me around in their department. I will post something when I find out more information.

i had some items on watch and had a friend try to bid for me... came back from fishing and was like *** on the low bids. my reserves for my friend on those items were way higher than what it ended on.

I think everything is still up in the air. I have sent ebay a complaint about their system error and pending for a response.

I also tried to bid from 8:20 and on....error, error, error...Ebay's system really screwed up. The people who did receive notification that they won should try to understand that there was a problem and not force Will to practically give away corals due to system malfunctions. As most of us who use Ebay know, the price of items always go up in the last half hour before ending. In this case, Ebay went down and no further bids were accepted. Will is losing a lot of money and it is not his error that caused it to happen. Hopefully Ebay will help him resolve and allow him to re-post those items...if the people who did win offered what the market will pay, then there should be no problem with winning again.

agreed. I didnt realize how many poeple were trying to bid until there was a problem and everybody came on the boards. Hopefully ebay can refund the people who have paid and fix everything!
