Add some trim to style it up and an access door if needed and hang the light SECURELY from the ceiling so it sits just below the top of the canopy. Wham Bam thank ya mamm....

Not going to be the nicest setup in the world but it will do for what you have....

Ditto. I agree with the open top canopy. those aquamedics tend to get hot!
i would put a fan even in the open top canopy.

If you go to frys you can get a 5 dollar PC fan hub that holds 6 PC fans made with a molex plug like the ones in your PC. On www.newegg.com you can get a A/C to Molex plug to plug the hub into the wall. With those two items you can attach up to 6 computer fans of any size up to it and mount them anyway you want for less then 15 bucks. I have 6 of the liquid bearing fans on my canopy and I have to look at them to make sure they are running. Thats how quiet they are. Not only that, I dont use a chiller and they keep my tank under 80 degrees efficiently....

I'm thinking that sign is metal. Metal Halide heats up metal sign that is close by. Sign starts fire on wall.

My two cents, like the sign but move it
