I've got a bag of camera bodies and lenses. Where is the best place to take this stuff to sell/make sure it goes to someone who will use it?

hmmmm, that's a toughie.....as far as someone getting good use of them. You might want to take a look at eBay to see what the going rate for certain items is and then list them on CL. If you have any Canon lenses I'd be happy to take a look

I should have said that I'm more concerned with it going to someone that will use old school stuff than making money on this.

yeah, that's what makes it tough. I'm thinking that peeps who really want old SLR equipment are the ones looking at eBay and CL. Not usually the kind of thing that someone randomly buys on impulse.....but you never know
