I knew these people were stupid. What a total POS! Why can't I be around when crimes like this take place? Would be fun to take those POS down there and tangle them up in a net. Maybe we could take a bunch of them down and tangle them up in some nets, slice em up a bit and then dump 500 lbs of fresh marine fish. Let them feed off the P'sOS. Just another example why public execution should be made legal.

They have to make a living. They need some serious educating about how what they are doing is hurting them and their own future. If these were thriving reefs, they would draw more sport divers and tourists. Unfortunately this is happening all over the world, not just in Mexico. We could just as easily say, "damn Asians" if you want to go postal on the basis of race. I remember when ouir OWN costal waters were teaming with life. Diving in the 70's was amazing here. Now I wouldn't waste my time. Just lots of sand and kelp.

I'm sorry Vinny, and trust me I understand where you are coming from cause I love my fishtank and this also makes me mad.... BUT these people need to make a living...they're not stupid..they're just ignorant. They have families to feed and don't know any better..they're not just looking to make a quick buck. I've been to loretto and while the scenery is beautiful quality of life and the "luxuries" that we have here do not exist there. This is not only happening in Mexico either it happens all over there world and not only with fish..but with everything else as well.. Like I said before I love my fishtank but if we're gonna start damning people we also need to look at ourselves for taking species out of their natural habitats to have in pretty much captivity.. that's just my humble opinion though...

Not so much damn us all, but a little education goes a long way. Imagine if all of this had been exploited and eliminated 100 years ago? We would have no critters to keep in out tidy little boxes. They might be found, but would be financially out of reach of most of us. Conservation does not mean leave it alone. It means be smart about what you have so that it is still there for our children's children. I took my son diving off of the coast here. He was unimpressed. We now do a pretty good job of reforestation after we used to clear cut forests. Now we plant trees as we go. It can be done. What will these people do to make a living when all of the sea life is gone? It is remarkably resilient, and given the opportunity would come back. There are solutions.

I'm not saying that its not f'd up that they're doing that.. It is.. but you saying things about cutting people up is also f'd up.. why? well lets see taking a dad, uncle, son, or someone away from their family for the sole purpose of them trying to provide for their family is also f'd up. Calling someone stupid without knowing the reasoning behind doing something is also f'd up as well...and yes just like TinTin said I'd be careful who you'd call stupid cause yes not all of us Mexicans ARE PACIFISTS!!!
