saul what fixture and ballasts? overdriven?

I am so tempted to get the ATI sunpower but I see an upgrade within the next year and I want to have the option of adding 8 bulbs to satisfy my appetite .
The sunpower only makes 6 bulb configurations.

So, I was just going to do a DIY light fixure from aluminum. I have a workhorse ballast currently powering 2XT5 right now and have an extra workhorse 7 ballast that is capable of power 4XT5's. My tank is 18 tall so I don't feel I need to overdrive them.

oic a little diy is good individual reflectors and a couple fans would be great too!

yup, thats the plan. Individual reflectors and plan to add a few fans inside the top of the fixture, just like the powermodule and sunpower.

But is there a discount on ATI bulbs? And I also noticed that the 54w fiji purple is back order. Any idea on how long it would take to get these in, if I get in on the order? Just trying to help you get closer to the 20% discount.

Hi Ryan,

Everything is in stock except for 54W Fiji Purple which we won't have in stock for another couple of weeks. We've had these bulbs on order for over 2 weeks, but the North American distributor is out of stock.

Would you like to partial ship the order? If we ship everything together shipping would be just $12 which is the handling charge on the over-sized 80W bulbs. Everything else ships for free. If we partial ship there would be an extra $9.95 shipping charge to ship the back-order Fiji Purple bulbs.

As far as I know he's quoted me 20% off for 36+ bulbs ordered. He said noting brand specific. He said a couple weeks for the fiji purples (as posted above in the email) I asked him for a few people if there was a deal on the ati fixtures and that was a no, sorry.
