well we survived one depresion so im pretty sure we would survive another. i know its hard to imagine a world with out black berrys and Iphone. but spending is going to get us no were long term,short term maybe but what are our children and our children going to be doing to get out of that Dept,screw china we dont need to Barrow there money we should be able to survive with out them.they do it cuz they know we will come back begging for more every time.

And if you really want to bring God into this do you really think he would aprove of anything thing that obama is doing or any other part of our government is doing?can you say with out a benifit of a doupt that he would give props,high-fives,pat's on the back,kudos to anything that is happining now?

Which is why we are investing in solar panels in the coming month and hope to be 100% self sufficient, which Obama has moved to give a great tax rebate for. We also drive two very fuel efficient cars, one a Prius and one a Corola. Sure none of us are perfect, but we can at least try. Dont attack the person doing its part.

Actually something that may shock you...but not one cent of your taxes goes to the military. The military is funded through Corporate tax, which I believe now is somewhere around 512 Billion dollars...all of it coming from profits made by corporations.

I think a lot of people would be surprised to find out how none of their income tax (our biggest tax) goes to really anything other then the interest the federal reserve (a private bank btw) has compounded over the years to coin our nations money.

Heres a list of common things the public expects that people generally think is covered by income tax, which are in fact NOT!

Schools (Paid by local property taxes)
Highways( Paid by excises taxes on gasoline)
Military (Paid by corporate tax)

The New Deal was perhaps the most sweeping set of new policies, new agencies, economic recovery programs, et al. that this country has even seen - collectively, it brought us out of the Great Depression (aided by US involvement in WWII, of course). Many outgrowths of the New Deal are still with us today... the FDIC, SSA, FHA, SEC, and a slew of other agencies, programs, etc. Do they teach NOTHING about recent/contemporary American History in school these days? Google it...
