      besides head loss or gain you need to factor in friction loss as well. friction loss is dependent of the gpm and the size of the plumbing

      GPH = Gallons Per Hour (Flow Rate)

      PSI = Pounds Per Square Inch (Pressure)

      Not the same type of measurement. You cant convert Gallons to Pounds, well you technically can but Hours cant be converted to Square Inches. There is no time measurement in the second one.
