Thanks dennis. That shot was taken at "Mt. St Evans Rd" 14,130ft. It was crazy getting up there. Lots of pitfalls and narrow roads.

Thanks kelly. Mountaineering in the sierras, wow that must be awesome. You need to share some pics if you have them. I'm planning to go back sometime this august and hit up sprague lake ouzel lake and many others hopefully.

oh and that trout was delicious. I'm hoping to have better fishing skills next time around.

There was a huge swarm of them at Mirror Lake. They where easy to catch. Sucks I didn't have a macro lens when that was taken.

You can see where the inspiration comes from for the flys in fly fishing. Agree, a macro shot would have been amazing.

I'll have to dig up some of my old shots of the sierras problem is a was shooting slide film back then and don't have a slide scanner.
