      Magnets Anyone??

      I'm going to be ordering some magnets from k&j magnetics for a DIY project. They have a wide range of strong waterproof magntes.

      Just wanted to see if anyone else here is interested in getting in on the order to get the shipping costs down.

      Payment Info:

      Due to the group buy, was able to get the price of DC2E Lowered from $1.55 to $1.27 per magnet.
      Shipping is $8.59, split 6 ways: 1.44 per person.

      I was thinking those, or these rubber coated ones. Do you guys think the rubber coating might help prevent scratches on an acrylic tank?

      magnet

      does anyone know if this magnet would travel heavily thru a 1" thick acrylic?

      That magnet has a pull force of over 350lbs. I think it'd pretty pretty safe to say that it will do just fine through 1 inch material. In fact I think any thing around 100lbs would pull pretty strongly through 1" acrylic, buy hey, I'm no expert.
