My gahd talk about economy slump!
Looks familiar Dese, who you frame for?
Northstar... But the framer on that was Greg Agee's guys, we just did the pools on this house and the one next door, Have you been there ?
I've worked for Agees many times, he shares same guys w/ Summers and Doan.
Thought I recognized that style.
Ever see that giant place they did owned by some prince?
Like emeralds and rubys in carved banisters and stuff, crazy!
Yeah, still money out there!
WOW, no I didn't get to see that one, got any pics? I might have to see if I can get a hold of those ones... I think im retired as a framer though , HAHA , I just get to build trellis's and decks now for Northstar and when there's no wood to be cut I have to babysit the pool diggers and laborers, which is boring as ***T but it pays the bills! I sometimes dream of the old days when I could work 60 hour weeks framing sun up till sundown!!!LOL!
No pics allowed on that one.
I think that was built just over 10years ago and still never seen/ocupied by owner, just security and cleaners.
You're glad you're not framing, thats a young mans gig, and makes old fast!
Decks and patio covers are fun to build, still do those myself.
I laugh cause those guys all use same plans, just slightly changed.
We used to call them glorified track homes!
I built this pond spring of last year. It took me a few months to do since I would work on it here and there, just for a few hours on the weekends. Its a small pond at approx 500 gallons....
Finally...
LMAO, yea Dave I wanted to start doing those homes before the "recession" but didn't work out !
Very nice build SteveUNO, I cant wait to get mine started im thinking maybe an outdoor reef? HMMMM...
sooo nice lol I used to work under Greg Agee through Al Kohler at one point. That's a hard job framing! we built one for him that was 11000 sq. ft. It took three 100 ft. power cords to reach across the slab. It was incredible!.
