I will never forget the PM he sent me on here a while ago saying something to the likes of (Because I stopped logging onto SDR) "Now I know for a fact the earth isn't flat so that tells me that its impossible for you to have fallen off the face of the earth" I had saved it for a verylong time but it somehow got deleted, That always brought a smile to my face.
Its been a while since I had seen him but even now he will be truly missed. R.I.P Jasper

my condolecenses to his family, this guy was one of the first people to tend to my help when i needed advice as to which corals to buy. one time we even set a time and date to go to P-K [[where i would see him even if we didnt plan it :P ]]and he showed me some corals that would be suitable for my tank. The best part is that at the end he went to his car and got a HUGE bag full of gooddies for me. this community will not be the same without you. wherever you are Jasper id like to thank you one more time for passing on your knoledge and wisdom, and in a way, live forever.

We will really miss Jasper's presence at meetings, patiently explaining reef lighting, chemistry and coral selection to the newbies. He gave us our first coral & encouraged us to frag the polyps. But more important than reef knowledge, Jasper was such a kind and welcoming human being. I was extremely sad that I missed the chance to see Jasper in the past week.

Never got to meet him unfortunately but back when we had our tank we had some of his corals we bought from someone else...he always had great advise for us all. So sad this really is a huge bummer!! :[ rip Jasper
