Search Syntax

How can I search for mutiple words using the "and" operator or an exact phrase? I am used to using the +/- operators and quotes, but the search results always seem to be based on an "or" operator. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but it is really frustrating me.

I'm having the same problems. It seems the default search is an 'or' search. It often makes it hard to find stuff.

I was just mucking about, but it may not be set in the options for admin. I think you have to enable "fulltext" search. Although it seems hit and miss and in some cases people got SQL errors.
