      I originally intended for the egg crate to sit on top of those glass tabs you see inside the box, but I forgot the overflows sit higher than that point so i scrapped them and just set the egg crate on top of the durso's.

      I set my water level crazy high, it's exactly at the bottom of the plastic rim.(about 1/2" from overflowing onto the ground, but you will never see the water level beneath the plastic trim which I prefer.
      Water spills perfectly and SILENTLY with no teeth. My tank is abnormally quite, you almost have to turn off everything in the house to hear it.

      If there was one thing I would change at the moment, it would be to make sure the silicone at the edge of the acrylic/glass bond was perfectly smooth. This would have done away with even the slightest trickle sound.
