SBRS August 23, 2008 Frag Swap and Meeting

We will be holding out August Meeting at 1897 Port Renwick, Chula Vista, CA. 91913-1236.
The meeting will be from 12pm to 3pm. We all know it goes later.
Bill from HD LTD will be doing a Lecture, Demonstration and Q&A on the Hiatt Filtration. This is one topic you won't want to miss.
We will have the frag tank setup so please bring your frags.
Vendors, please be respectful of our space in our tank. You are welcome to bring your own frag setups and display your goods!
We will be having food and it is up to you to bring your favorite dish. Not necessary though.
Come and check out Vic's beautiful tank! You will not be disappointed!
MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!!!!!! BYOC!!!!!!!!!! BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR!!!!!!
Hope to see many regular and new faces! This meeting is open to anyone new and old. No special invite needed.

Awww I have to miss this one. I am going to visit my daughter in Washiington state and dont get back until Sunday. :-( I hate missing SBRS

I know I will have meat to barbeque...what kind??? Not sure yet. I'm leaning towards beef/pork. Pancit (and a very good one at that) will also be there. Beer...I'll have some too. Please feel free to also bring some. For those that want to do mixed drinks, I will have a blender available. I will also supply ice. I'll have two coolers (one large, and one very large) that will be filled with other drinks. Let's make this a fun event, share some knowledge, aquarium stories, and smiles! Also, if it gets too hot outside for some, our home is air conditioned. Please feel free to bring some people that are new or are interested in getting into the hobby. Again, let's just have fun!

Also as a quick FYI, and for those that know the area, the surrounding area is actually Bonita (I just happen to live right on the boundry line of the Chula side). The 125 Fwy (toll road) is good for those coming from La Mesa/El Cajon/Ramona, etc... areas, but cost $2.50. It's best to have quarters to throw into the toll collection bin. Just go south on 125, exit East H St., turn right. Next light is Eastlake Drive (turn right). then left on Hillside Drive, then left on Port Renwick (we're the first house on the corner). The free optionis going from the 125 fwy to the 54 and exiting Briarwood. Just google the rest of the way. Again, these directions are for those coming from the prevously mentioned areas.

I'm new to this and haven't been to a frag swap yet. I don't have frags also, so can I 'swap' with cash or is it strictly "frag swapping"? I hope I can go so I can meet you guys!
