So I've returned from my first trip out to sea for th underwater class (three days). I only did 8 dives, since I was having some issues with being super tired and a headache (some equalizing issues as well). anyway, I took 495 images, mostly macro, and whittled that down to 61 "decent" or better. By the time I pick out the "good ones" I'll probably end up with 20. In which case, I will post them here!! So keep an eye on this thread. I gotta go through them all and edit them. And know this: A few of my friends/classmates already seem to have it down... some of their images were amazing... Mine are.well.... good for a n00b in the water, but I still have some practice to get better....
On a side note, i got harrassed by a couple of sheephead, who felt my wetsuit needed to be nibbled on, and my snorkel was good eating... Annoying, a bit intimidating.. but all in all, neat to be interacting with wild animals who have virtually no fear of people (in the marine sanctuary)
