      In Need of Photoshop CS3

      In bit of a tough spot with school and i need Photoshop CS3 asap. Anyone have a lead as to where i might be able to fine a copy without spending a fortune?

      Since you are in school try www.Gradware.com or www.Academicsuperstore.com.

      They have Photoshop CS3 Extended for less than $300 if you are a student. For you parents out there with kids in K-12, you can buy it on their behalf...hint hint.

      I got a copy of Adobe CS3 design standard (photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and acrobat professional 8) for $209.00. Certain schools get better discounts than others. You can fill on what school you go to and see what your prices are.

      FWIW: Most schools can get CS3 for ~ $250, CS3 extended for $300.

      I use Paint Shop Pro for graphics and editing. It's got 80% of the functionality of Photoshop for 20% of the price. (read that somewhere) Looks like the latest version is going for $80. I'd check Gradware for a student discount on it too.
