you going to the game to pk, well see ya there
I like the trolly fun for the kids
I would park at Old Town and take the trolley in. It's atleast $20 bucks to park across the ballpark and you don't get the "whole" game experience.
I was at the convention center all day today and parking was $8 underneath the center...just a short walk to the ballpark from there
How bad is parking at old town before the game ?
not bad at all
Park in the convention center parking lot. It usually goes up to $10 for games, but it is still a deal.

You can also park at Park it on Market ($10.00) but you got to get there early. It's a short walk to the park.
when we went, we parked in the structure on 8th and Harbor. directly across the st. of petco. $10
it was pretty empty when we got there, so i would suggest just arrive a little early.

What's wrong w/ parking for free at Old Town, and taking the trolley for a few $$?
The Old Town lot fills up very fast.

I got to a ton of games every year and always park in the convention center. It is the cheapest around and it is right next to the stadium. You pull into the Marriott & marina and take a left. Best place to park I promise. Never any traffic getting out. If there is...its only a 5 minute wait. GO PADRES!
Parked at old town and took the trolley. It was painless. Great game !!!!
Thanks all.....
trolley isn't cheaper if you have a few people with you, and it can be a pain in the butt if the game is crowded.
I love Park it On Market too, I think it is usually full by 6:30 though.
A little secret for the SD REEFS crowd ---
There is a metered parking area at the north end of Seaport Village, which means free parking after 6PM. Park there and walk over. Done it many times and the little lot genrally always has space to park.
