I just use a HOB filter like an aquaclear and a heater. Whatever meds you choose, follow the instructions for WCs and such and all should be good. Slightly higher temp and lower salinitly also helps. Good luck!

Try feeding spectrum pellets also, it contains copper sulfate and garlic. I use it, I think it works great.

Any particular type of Spectrum, or do they all contain copper sulfate and garlic? Also, will the copper sulfate in the food harm/hurt the inverts in the DT?

I use the thera+a and the small, they both have it. I don't think it harms inverts my shrimp and snails eat the leftovers.

I use garlic bough from Aquatic Warehouse,it is quiet expensive $24.99 plus tax for a small tube but it really worked,I remember only need to use few times for my fishes and all the white spot are gone.I mixed it with pellet food in a cup,let it soak for 10 minutes, turn off main pump and dump the whole thing into my tank(not include the cup for sure) and let my fishes eat all of it.

Jeff, Try if he eats red macro algae, it is supossed to be good specially for tangs. They have some at Petco here in Eastlake for $1.99 small portion.
