Ammonia??? Help!!!!

so ihabs high ammonia 2pp and all others read 0 ??? I have a 24 nano 2 fish clown and chromis and a fire shrimp. I tried my hand at a cleaner to no avail and he died and I left him in there for lunch. Could he be causing my ammonia spike? Yesterday I did a 25% water change and tested a few hours later and it was good. Now I test today and its 2pp I did a 2 gallon water change now what????????

yes, take him out, also look for dead snails and such, do another 25% water change then test again the next day. . .

How long has the tank been up?

2-3 months I Think. Since feb

well if you have bacteria in the tank and LR and stuff you should not be having a bump in ammonia . . . when were the 2 fish added? Also until the problem is fixed feed the fish very little also have you used windex or any type of cleaners around the tank?, Whipped the front off with ammonia?

no windex. The fish was added a week ago. The shrimp added sat died sat I'll dig it out and do water changes.
