w00t!!!! Most of the acros are back in the tank. Everyone got another bath prior to being moved, but I haven't seen any worms or even signs of them in weeks. Let's hope all it good. Pics to come....

peter I got a yellow corise wrasse when I had AEFW in my frag tank and he took them out in 1 wk (well I should say that all afected colonys / frags were thrown out, but he got the straglers)
I havent seen any in 2 mo, GL I hope everything stays good

I will actually be moving the melanurus wrasse from the QT to the main display for exactly this purpose, just in case. At first I was concerned about not having sand, but he sleeps on the BB of the QT even though I gave him a pile of sand....I'll probably pick up a yellow one too....

Since people asked for an update:
The acros are just OK...it's been rough going. I'm pretty sure I bleached the crap out of some after moving back under halides
This whole experience hit me pretty bad...while I realize I'm my own worst critic, I think my tank looks like ass right now (most others disagree), and have frankly considered selling it a few times now....
Once the acros are done doing whatever they are doing...adjusting back to normal or finish dying, I'll update this thread again.

I understand why you are feeling discouraged, but having seen your tank somewhat recently, put me on the list of folks that think your tank looks amazing. I believe it's just human nature to focus on the 3% that is not where we would like it while "overlooking" the 97% that seriously rocks. Your tank is an inspiration - for sure.
I am looking forward to the day my tank looks as "ass" as your tank!
I'm bumbed out that I didn't get to see this tank in person when it was in it's glory days
Well I thought I'd finally update with pics. Overall, the AEFW adventure SUCKED! Between losing stuff to them, and then to the QT, and then to reacclimation to the main display, I lost probably 60%+. BTW, anyone who tells you it's easy to set up a QT for acros for the first time is LYING!! Water chemistry changes at the drop of a hat, even with 60g to work with.
Anyways, some success stories:
My oregon tort:
My cali tort:
Some of my blue/green vermiculata/tenuis? I saved several chunks....
My two biggest colonies. The green stag turned white after going from QT (2 - T5's) back to MH. It has taken a while, but all the green is almost back....
And another large colony. Two pieces of it, one is still adjusting color:
Also saved my blue tip stag, ORA green mille, ORA turqouise stag, ORA german green with purple polyps (yay!), ORA Infdo purple stag, large blue gomezi...and a few others....

And some new replacements:
My beloved red table, again from Dr. Mac....
fenneri?

I lost every mille except the green, so....
I lost every single tricolor, so I got a new Graf Bonsai:
And another unknown (austera?):
