WOW! That's a lot of work. I'm sorry that it had to come to that. I hope that it all works out for you and your corals. There's a lot to be said for someone who cares enough to try and remedy things as opposed to just tossing everything and starting over. Good luck to you Peter.

Thanks It actually went pretty smoothly. The pillars made life really easy...just remove the entire top rock from each pillar, break off the acros, kalk any remaining tissue, and voila...acro free in no time

Don't even recognize the tank anymore Peter. Hope the QT goes well. You're inspiring me, I've been considering doing something similar to smother the algae forest I'm growing. hmmmm

Wow, it's invertebrate carnage in the cat pan. Pods, asterinas, and brittle stars came flying off almost immediately. The worms are slowly peeling away, flying around thanks to the power head. Also crawling away for dear life. Sweet!

No it does not. And apparently it desn't *kill* the worms either. While they are irritated and falling off, they are most certainly still alive

LOL...TMPCC defintely kills them! So, after the levimasol, I'll do a quick dip in the TMPCC before adding back to the QT. Man, if these acros survive all this, I will never consider acros "delicate" again
