      pond plants

Alright guys, stocking the girlfriend's parents' pond with plants etc, so where would be a good place to get some water lillies, water lettuce, etc etc. I have duckweed already, heh. Any other suggestions for plants and places to find them would be great. Thanks guys.

Walter Andersons nursery usually has some decent plants. I have seen them at other nurseries as well.
You can also dig around on CL and see what is out there. Many times, I have seen people giving away plants.

Here, I'll help: These are all from the last 3-4 days.

I gotta thin out some of my lilys. If you want some let me know and I will dig some out for you. Cant tell you what color they are though, they are most likely pink or something close to that.

I have Louisiana Iris (Black Gamecock, I think) and Papyrus which are bog plants. I also have Waterweed (Elodea canadensis) which is a useful underwater plant. Also some snails to get you started.

Let me know and I'll get some out for you.

I've got a fair amount of water lettuce (maybe 30-40 plants) in established tank, algae free for some time. If you wanna barter/buy (not looking for a ton of money...just a donation to the fish food fund), pm me.
