LOL Its already full of PM's my premium ran out! I am trying to renew... Matt, this thing is going a little faster! I have my CL almost all the way plumbed, my 600 watt lumenmax came , and Aqua C is making me a custom sump! Still the slowest build ever huh?

How's it going with the sp fellas?.

I have started the dosing process 3 separate times. Within three days, my encrusting monti frags are pissed off and a hair-like algae appears near/on them(sponges?). I stop dosing and after a few days lose all color & PE. After a month they come back. Digi's and acros are unaffected and continue to grow with good color and PE. Water parameters are decent and decently stable and I don't see anything strange in my weekly tests. I don't do any other zeo so maybe this is the reason. The only variable changed is the addition of SP. Thought it was a nutrient problem so the second time I dosed vodka according to the RC threads until all my chaeo died off prior to trying SP again. Same result. I am just getting the first polyps extending half way out from the latest attempt. Maybe I got a bad batch as I haven't heard of similar experiences. From what I gather SP is a solution of Potassium iodine fluoride so maybe I am already at high levels of these elements and SP is providing more than some of my corals care to be around. SP also has some Bromine in it (not sure how much) so maybe I had a slight asymptomatic issue with Bromine and SP pushed me into having a tangible problem with it. Hope that wasn't too long.

I honestly cannot tell if there has been more colorization or increased growth in my tips. Its really hard to notice.
