I have only used Joes Juic, but I know there are others out there. Has anyone tried:
1. Chem Marin Stop Aiptaisa
2. Tropic marin Elimi Aiptais
3. Blue Life Aiptaisia Control

dont want to piggy back but ive herd of vinegar as a source is this true?
I've used the one from blue life. it works ok, but like others works best if you hit the same aiptaisia a couple of times in a week or so.
I just got the Blue Vet Aiptasia Control, and it has been working for me Sue.
Joes Juice is okay but I dont like usiing it so close to other corals.
The key is repeated injections. I no longer have any aptasia. After hitting the aptasia every few days with the current off for 20 minutes, they have been gone for a couple of months now. I also put some peppermint shrimp in to get any small ones that I don't see.
I think a thick kalk paste works about as good as joes juice. Just repeatedly hit them and they'll go away.

I use Blue Life Aiptaisia Control with no problems, but I do although throw in a peppermint shrimp every now and then when I don't want to bother sticking my hand in the tank.
After a good spray wait a few days until they start to grow tentacles, then hit them again.
The stuff I used was Blue Life aptasia control. I got it at OG. It looks just like Kalkwaswer but was easier to inject and didn't seem to burn the other corals as much. Good luck.
I've done that before, but only to take care of isolated apitasia. If the apitasia is too close to the colony I didn't try to chance it since vinegar is acidic. The quick rundown involves soaking a piece of the LR to force the anenome to separate from the rock. Then you have to wash out the part very well to prevent any of the vinegar from leaking back into your system. Atleast thats the way I do it.Originally Posted by R3M@RK@BL3

Directly injecting lemon juice has worked wonders for me!
Okay, Im going to try the blue Life
I just tried the blue Life aptasia control I got at the recommendation of OG.
tried it on 3 aptasia, one huge one.
Real easy to use, minimal mess. the little excess seemed to float off to the overflow OK. I even forgot to turn off my Korolias, LOL but the test victims were out of the heavy flow.
They look gone and I dont think they are coming back.
It left a big white glob that sealed them in there holes. That seems to be disapating/dissolving now a few days later.
No corals seemed to notice it but maybe my LTA shrunk back that night which isnt really unusual since i fed him a silverside earlier that day, but I was woried about it affecting a nem, but nem seems totally fine.
I may add a pepermint or 2 to get the last little *******s in the rockwork.
