I was about to buy some in vegas but I was worried they wouldn't survive the 5 hour drive home. Maybe next time I'll just try it and see what happens.

I think they're an abomination. . . I'd never own one, and I'd never support a store who stocked them. But that's just my $0.02.

If you check their web page they hope to make the fish change color due to the ph and this trait is able to be passed along tot he next generation though breeding. Not sure if the color is random or if you breed green you get green.
for those that may be interested in these glow fish i am talking to my wife about visiting her friend in az during spring break and bringing some of these guys home
