      koralia and wave makers

      do koralias work with wave makers or is it better to have them on constantly

      It's not recommended to use them with a wavemaker.

      1. The manufacturer says not to do so.
      2. The opening at the tip is inviting to livestock like small fish and snails. Pump goes off, fish goes in, pump comes on.... you have sushi.

      I genrally only turn mine off when target-feeding.

      Ditto what Russ said. It is not recommended for use with an on/off wavemaker. The best wavemaker to use for them at the moment would be the Seio Electronic Controller. Hydor is supposed to come out with its own controller for the Koralia line of pumps but who knows how long that will take
