      Flourite question

I'm looking to get some flourite for my 10gal angeltank so i can start getting into planted...finally. Ideally i want to use some of the black stuff in fine or sand. I don't need one of those huge $40 bags of the stuff, is there somewhere that sells it bulk, or does anyone have some i can buy?

Pet kingdom sells flourite in smaller amounts. Not sure what you meant by "black stuff".

There are several good substrates on the market for planted tanks, usually in 20 lb bags but I think it is also availabe in 10 lb quantities. Usually at least 2 (usually 3) different layers are reccomended for planted tanks. That does not mean that plants will not flourish in less. Nothing wrong with a 10 gallon planted tank, but you need to watch your selection, a lot of plants grow tall.
:) Happiness is having 50 plus aquariums...........also a direct route to the looney bin:eek: Somebody has to support the LFS
