      Alright Nick, Here's Your DIY

So Nick says to me, "Minh, what if I want some culture and a little more substance than a PB&J?" Well, good question bud, here's how you make some cold-weather-ready Pho:

      Ingredients:
      -Beef broth
      -Bean sprouts
      -Thick flat rice noodles
-One big piece of lean BEEF!
-Black pepper, mints, basils, chile, whatever you want
      -Fish sauce, Sriracha, hoisin, whatever

Step 1: Bring water to a boil

Step 2: Warm up beef broth on medium low heat

Step 3: Add whatever you want to the broth (sauce, chile, peppers, basils, etc.)

Step 4: Slice the beef into thin slices

Step 5: Cook the noodles for 30 secs-1 min

Step 6: Cook the bean sprouts for 5 mins

Step 7: Dip the beef slices for a few secs until pink

Step 8: Put all the pieces together in the biggest bowl you can find

Step 9: Enjoy it by your reef tank

One hint; you should add what you added to yours, not just "whatever you want" .

Yup, nothing traditional about this one. My approach is the same for everything: KISS. It could be too spartan for some but you got your carbs, you got your veggies, you got your protein, whatelse do you need?

LOL, I don't know if SDreefs is ready for dinuguan yet.

About the broth, hm, I like to stick to the basics:some mints/basils, a squeeze of lime, 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of Sriracha and maybe a tablespoon of hoisin. It's up to you though. The world is your bowl of pho, go season it!
