      Question 10g tank

should it be ok if set up a 10g freshwater tank and put it on top of my fridge?

It's perfect cause the fridge is 20" wide, just like a normal 10g

It's kinda like this one right here

Just wanna hear some opinions, thanks

      Sounds interesting!!!

Feed the fish while grabbing an ice cold brewski, but wouldn't the tank get shaken up a bit from opening and closing the fridge. I've had them little fridges before and they are all not that sturdy, but I don't know how sturdy they get with a 10g tank on top.

It'll be fine - I used to use mine as an entertainment center.

I just bought the tank and put it on the fridge, and looks like the only problem is that it's not leveled, the fridge is a little higher in the middle, so I'll try putting some paper on the bottom of the tank, on left and right side, the fridge is pretty sturdy though.

Im gonna set up this tank as a freshwater, it's so hard, it would be awsome for like a damsel only tank, it's tempting.

Oh well, already setting up a 2.5g pico reef.

Here, you can see how it's not leveled, hopefully it won't break.=/

try putting 1/4" - 1/2" insulation styrofoam on the bottom of the tank, helps level and distribute weight. Cheap, too. Did my 275 for about 8 bucks. Lookin good though!

ha, i had a 10 gallon fw on top of my mini fridge for 2 years. I noticed it fit perfectly, so i put it on there and it looked real nice. When you open and close it, the tank shakes a bit, but it doesn't matter. Just make sure that aquascaping you did won't topple over. Maybe use some epoxy putty on the big rocks.

Oh yeah, depending on how much the fridge moves, watch your water level in the tank :P Wouldn't want any of that nice fish water on the food now

Nah I don't think the aquascape will fall..

jaja, it's not that bad when I open or close the fridge, I think the water barely moves.

No skimmer, it's just a freshwater tank.

      And yeah I think it's a penguin
