I really didn't wand to clean my tank with the Kent scraper anymore. Every time I was done, I missed a little spot and i had to clean some more.
This week i ordered the Glass Algae scraper from oceansmotions.com and i also ordered the appropriate size mag float.
I came on Friday and man my tank looks clean today.As soon as i could i glued the scraper to the mag float (super glue Gel worked good and fast). 5min later I went to work with it.
It is really easy to adjust and it came with a blade already installed. It took the Coraline off in one try and everything else for that matter. watch of for snails on the glass or you will frag them with that scraper. Also watch out around the seems of the tank.
With the blade holder attached to the mag float it is a little bit tall and I touched some of my rocks/corals wile I was cleaning and couldn't get to some spots in my tank.The other complaints I have with this scraper is that the blade is not wide enough (I will try some other blades, standard blade is a common razor blade) and that it took me 4 years to get one.
I really think this thing is the best product out of all my maintenance equipment.
