      Turboflotor T1000

IMO the best bang for the buck if you are using the Oceanrunner pump. This is the original recirc skimmer.
Make sure you use the feed water to adjust the skimmer water level and toss the adjusters on the outflow.

      Pros:

      Skimate Production
      Well build
Easy to use (no fiddling once it is set up)
      Price

      Cons:

      Footprint is big
Level adjustment valves on the outflow are useless

I love this skimmer. I actually liked the adjustment valves and had no problem with them. I'll add that another pro to this skimmer is that you can easily add ozone to it. It has a compartment that hangs off of the outflow that you can store activated carbon in, and AM sells a lid for this skimmer specifically for containing ozone. The only other con that I will add is that not only is the footprint large, but I found it very cumbersome to remove the pump for cleaning with the media box always in the way. Great skimmer though. Way ahead of it's time.
