I like it. Small, silent, price is ok. It's real cool to see the wave effect hit the corals then pause then hit em again!. I've got mine on a 1260 and turning a Tunze 6080. Lots of oscillated flow!.

I am considering getting one so it can hit any dead spots I have in my tank.
However, is the flow adjustable and if so, is the max flow basically the output of the return pump?
I was told that it was adjustable but I dont think you can increase the flow more than what the pump can produce. Thanks.
You can't increase flow, unless you toss on an eductor/penductor on the output. To put it simply, the WavySea device is basically a oscillating 90 deg. elbow. I have a WavySea and am EXTREMELY satisfied with it. My only gripe is probably with the controller. It's kinda bulky IMO and they could've done a better job to make it smaller and more compact. Otherwise, it's a very easy "plug-and-play" piece of equipment which is reliable and good at mixing things up.
Cool, thanks Daniel, that will be on my Christmas list, got to convince the g/f it is worthwhile.
how much do these things run?

I love mine. I have it hooked up to a mag 12 pump. I am looking to get a tunze attachment to add my 6080. Much better quality than a seaswirl.
I've got 2 on my tank. I did a slight mod. The return runs through them and also have a mj1200 mounted to it. I love em.
Modded MJ1200's? That would be bad-ass... esp if you had them on a wave-maker set to turn on/off every minute or so to pulse some flow.Originally Posted by da6d2003
BTW, I modded mine too but it's not as nice as an MJ1200. I basically drilled a small hole in the plumbing to cut the siphon which decreases backflow into my sump during a black-out or when my return pump fails. Works like a charm!

What makes the WavySea Plus different than the WavySea?Originally Posted by Bogg
Some sort of powerhaed bracket?
3600GPH vs 2300GPH max flow-thru rate. + models can be hooked up to pressure-rated pumps.Originally Posted by dj9264
