Recommendations

I know people bring up the rating system often but how about a recommendations (thumbs up) type of screen that can be added to the members profile section. As for the recommendations, similar to what LinkedIn.com provides. I've had a lot of guys help me out whether it be giving me good deals on livestock,equipment,etc., or by helping out with setting up my tanks,etc. I'd like to be able to give kudos to these folks.

Would it be a "don't say anything at all if you have nothing nice to say" type thing? How do we keep people from abusing it, or do we simply not offer a "thumbs down" option?....

yeah, really only wanted to use for thumbs up and to be able to give kudos to people.
