Cool Can arowana and flowerhorn housed together

I known that arowana like low pH water around 6-6.5 and don't like too much water change to increase pH level made them ich and jump,in other hand flowerhorn eat alot and of course eliminate alot they require water change weekly and high pH made their color better too.
How can they house together in a same tank?

It is possible....But one thing, unless you have a 300 gallon tank....There will be some power struggle and a loss of one soon enough....

Most arowanas nowaday are being grown in not so soft water. Especially the silver and jardini (australian)...And same for the flowerhorn...Keep them around pH 7.0 and I think they will be okay...But if you are planning to breed them, then it may be another story....

Just as long as they have

      A) Plenty of swimming space

      B) Good clean water

      c) Food they like and eat

      d) NO constant hand banging outside the tank from children...8-)

You have a happy arowana with a less colorful flower or a unhappy arowana with a colorful flower. I think Making the arowana happy is the best plan. You could test and adjust the PH until you find a balance between the stress vs color.
Not trying to being mean but the question seems straight forward.
Its like saying I like arowanas but I want Tetras in with it, how can I keep the arowana from eating the tetras.

I think they are hardy enough to take any tap water. I never spent too much effort on water chemistry, just kept changing it and feding good food and they look great, i never had those two fish in the same tank though.

If the aro is grown you can try a huge school of small tetras and if hes well fed he probably won't bother hunting them down but larger tetras or if hess hungry he will take them, i had mine eat a whole bunch of those tin foil barbs, no matter what size i put in, except i didnt try those huge tin foils in fountain's customer drop off tanks; they just always did lensions and never looked healthy though.
