Banggai Cardinalfish

I finished setting up my 40 gallon for the Cardinals.
Had them in a 20 gallon for a few weeks, before the upgraded to the 40 gallon.
Hoping they will breed, but i think they are 2 females.

Anyway.

Question.

I tried to feed them flake food for the first 2 weeks, they would try it but then spit it out. So I have been feeding them baby guppies, i have a endless supply of guppies. Is it a bad thing to be feeding them fresh water fish?

I read somewhere that it's not good to feed freshwater fish to saltwater fishes. Try feeding them mysis shrimp. Mine love them and this is the second time they breed in a month. Good luck

best way to tell is the jawline of them

or throw afew in a tank, the ones fighting are males, take of of them, and one of the non fighters

yeah i read about the jawline, but i looked and don't see a difference.
I'm to cheap to buy another one but it looks like i'm going to have to get a third and hope it works out. my luck i'll end up with three females.

when you go to buy one, go somewhere reputable, and they should be able to get you a male
