      Water Temp

      Does anybody know some good ways to help lower the water temp by a few degrees?

      I was dumping ice in my sump when we had that heat wave. I also put a clip on desk fan over the sump to coll the water surface. It worked, but had some major evap...

      2 liter bottle of frozen water in the sump will take a while to melt, keep extras in the freeezer and revolve them. works for me.

      yeah I did the whole frozen bottle thing..it works, but its kinda tedious with all the rotations....using fans blowing over the top works a lot better

      a fan works wonders
      just blow it on the top of the tank
