      Skimmer help

I just hooked up a CSS to test and the output "burps water"

What do I need to do to eliminate the burping?

I do not know much about skimmers as this is my first attempt with an in sump skimmer.

on the output, do you have a way for the output to breathe? like a "T" on its side? Don't really know if I explained this right??? Nevermind it looks like you have one. Is something blocking the top of the "T"? Sounds like the output of the skimmer won't let the water flow out as fast as it should be able to. Maybe someone else can chime in on this one and give some better input.

The Tee has a cap with a hole drilled in it, but even if I remove the cap it still burps.

So I looked at the airline tubing (venturi) that goes to the PH and it has water that backs into it like there is not enough suction to keep air constant.

      Is that normal?
      Can I prevent that?
