Don't think I can hold out

I started the 3 days darkness thing to controll my algae problem, but I don't think I have the nerve to keep my tank dark past a second day.

I just did 72 hours dark recently and it really knocked out my algae problem. It hasn't returned since and the corals are all just fine

if you really dont like it just set the lighting hours to ONLY when your home and can look at the tank, that should dramatically cut down on the hours and neutralize the problem

Dont care about looks, just afraid I'll kill my SPS

They will be fine SolRo. I've done it in the past. It's torture waiting those three days but they really will be ok. I've also had frags break off and fall behind rock work were they've had no like for about 5-7 days and even those frags made it with a little love and care.
