Peter should chime in on this. I'm on my treo and don't have the links to the cure. Try doing a seach for interceptor.
anyone have any interceptor??? Will these bugs harm my corals?
a simple search in google of "red bugs in saltwater aquarium" would have turn this up

Wont wrasses do it too?
On the TOTM on RC the guy said he got into wrasses after he started finding redbugs and monti eating nudis...
Is that right?

No fish predator has been proven to eradicate any pest completely (RB, nudis, flatworms, etc).
RB are REALLY tiny. I mean REALLY, REALLY tiny. Most wrasses won't even notice them. I think DFS says pipefish may eat them.
Edit: That's so weird that "proven" isn't in the dictionary

maybe it falls under "prove"....

One of my crabs has been hanging out on the acro ever since the bugs dropped in. Maybe hes snacking on them?
There is anecdotal evidence that acro with acro crabs will have fewer RB than those without.

Think my dragon pipe fish might be making some progress against my redbug infestation, as I see less and less of them on the effected corals.
Though I've never seen the pipe fish actualy nipping at the corals, so it could just be unrelated or just wishful thinking
you know how people do iodine dips to, i dunno, "clean" their corals. Would taking iodine in a syringe and spraying it over the affected coral do anything. Just use the iodine (assuming that you do) that you dose into your tank. I noticed one of my zoo colonies irritated and saw little red things on it. So i sprayed my weekly dosing of iodine over it and they were gone. Now those zoos are starting to spread. Maybe my case was luck?
Iodine dips (Lugols/TMPCC) have been shown to NOT work 100% on RB. Direct iodine (like an undiluted Lugol's solution) will kill the coral tissue.
Zoas don't get RB, they are strictly acro parasites. Occasionally they may be found on other corals in heavily infested tanks.
