500 Gallons FW Planted Tank

Here's a little teaser of my converted reef to fw planted tank. I know that I'm sorta going backward (from reef to fw), but hey... to each his own.

Here's what I have in the new setup so far:

Hardscape:
160lbs of petrified wood (rock) (RCP)
150lbs of crushed bricks (RCP)
16 bags of eco-complete (AW)
8 bags of ken flourite (AW)
17lbs of ghost wood (AW)

Equipment:
BioWave Series 19, bead filter (for ponds up to 2500 gal) :-D
40W HO UV sterilizer
1/4HP Pump for BioWave
Aquanetic Micro Filter w/ Sequence Pump

Plants:
2xHC
4xTiger Lotus Lilly
Misc other stuff

Livestock:
None so far.. Will be moving my discus to this tank in a few weeks.

Gonna post more pics when the water clear up. Probably take a day or so. I'm going back to FW planted because it's SOOOOOO LOOWWW maintenance! I got tired of battling stupid reef problems.

The market is bad right now, so I decided to just stay put for a while. I didn't mind since it gave me the chance to redo my tank. I hope this tank will be way less maintenance than the reef tank.

I'm thought out exactly what I wanted to do in terms of equipment and I think I will not need to spend more than an hour a month on maintenance.

Awesome tank to use with Discus! What kind of lighting are you going to use to keep the plants? going to use any CO2?
