so I am confused...where does this get installed to increase flow - i am definately down
it goes on your return manifold outlets, inside the main display.
ok...so what i have read so far on other sites i gather that it does not increase water flow through the closed loop system. By that I mean you would not see a greater amount of volume circulating your system in a given time frame. The design of these eductors simply allow surrounding water to be used to increase the flow of water through the nozzle itself. Would that be a correction inference.

Im going to give them a go here pretty soon. (just starting to do the plumbing on my 110)
What pump are you going to use?
As much as I want to run these, my current sump isn't allowing the capacity in the event of a power outage. This will have to wait for the custom sump.

What do you mean the sump wont handle the capacity? this isnt going to change the GPH you are moving through your sump it will increase circulation inside your tank using the same output from your pump
Going to use a Eheim 1262 Pump. There are two outputs for the return so i may do two eductors, might even put a scwd inbetween. Do you think the Eheim would work ok with these?

My returns are drilled about 4.5" down from the water line. Once the pump stops, the water drains out of these. Right now, I have locline fittings that allow me to position a higher return height. Running the eductors would put me back to the drilled level. I'm open to any suggestions that would bypass having to do another sump. I hear bad things about check valves so I'm hoping not to go that route.Originally Posted by iVgOnMaD

It should be fine, a bigger pump would be optimal, but two on a scwd and the eheim should give you a great improvement.
Gad, you beat me to that tank, I was next in line i wanted to get that one and put it right by side with my 90 that has the same dimensions but only 6" shorter, i was going to have one overfllow into the next and so on.

I would definitely drill the tank for two 3/4" returns on each of the top corners and put the eductors on lockline. I will look sweet.

As of now the return comes through the overflow box and theres two locklines coming out of the overflow itself, one on each side. I was planning on just leaving it like this and adding some powerheads for flow, but if those eductors work well then i might be able to skip the powerheads. Any disadvantages to leaving the return coming through the overflow? I would rather not drill the tank.
