refugium light group order

Hey guys,
I know we've discussed it before but I am looking for these bulbs:

I cannot find them at Home Depot (on genessee). i've gone twice now and they assured me they do not carry these bulbs. Does anyone know another home depot that does carry them? Or another local source to find them? Or does anyone want to go in on a group order with me? Basically I'll order them and you can just pay me for them when you pick them up.

Check cosco for a 3 pack, and try another home depot, I saw a bunch of the spiral inside reflector style bulbs in a different home depot in the lightbulb section. Saw them in san marcos home depot, so kinda a long drive.

Actualy, I'm probably gonna have to head up there this weekend to finish setting up the office, want me to grab you one?

Hey FB, I did the same thing. I went to the Home Depot in Chula Vista and they said that it was a special order. I did hear from someone on here saying that they went to the Home Depot in Santee and got them but eventually I just ended up ordering them from Lightbulbsdirect..

Dang. SolRo, thanks for the offer but I fear that the bulbs at home depot are not the 5100 Kelvin ones (unless it's specifically marked on the package as such, I would assume they are not). I know home depot has hundreds of spiral bulbs but i could not find a single one that stated both "energy efficent (meaning only using 16 watts for 65 watt equivalent output)" and 5100 Kelvin. i think I will just order them on Thursday and give anyone else a chance to jump in then. I'll probably order a few when I do anyways just to offset my shipping. I'll bump this thread thursday morning to remind people.

I think I'm just going to order it at this point. But thanks a ton for the offer SolRo. I'm going out of town for another week on thursday and I just need my macro to make it till I get back. Then the new bulbs should be here waiting for me.
