      - Autotopoff from RO/DI unit
      - Slow drip to landscraping drain
      - CO2 tank w/ diffuser and controller to maintain proper pH
      - Lighting: (none yet).. but thinking about PCs or T5s.. what's best for plant growth and color?
I know nothing about the outdoor plumbing, obviously you have more experience. But wouldn't a continuous drip, espeically outside and in sunlight get awfully moldy/slimy/mossy? Wouldn't it be better somehow to somehow maybe flush/spurt out 16 oz all at once, once an hour or something like that?

      cha ching!

Had a another Monster drink last night and realized that I had a bucket of plants I got from a fellow sdreefer so I started to aquascape some more. Here's the latest aquascaping for this tank:

      update

Here you go. I've done one water change since starting this tank. pH is kept around 6.5. I have only clean the glass once. The snails takes are of cleaning it and the plants prevents algae from growing out of control. Feeding is done two to three times a day. Guppies are breeding like mad.

What do you use to keep the PH where it should be? I am having a bit of a challenge with that on my 75g FW tank.

The pH naturally goes down due to fish waste. I have lots of aeration in my tank so I use a ph buffer to lower it, and baking soda to raise it. But in normal FW tank w/o a sump, you just use a CO2 setup.

What pH do you want your tank to be at? Using the right substrate really helps too.

I have a 75g with about 2.5 - 3 inches of a mixture that consists mostly of Flourite with some Laterite as well. I do not yet have a real CO2 system, but I am running a small yeast setup. Not too many plants yet. I wanted to figure out the PH thing first. I have two mollies and four cardinal tetras right now. Any pointers will be very appreciated.
