I will be setting up a 90g FOWLR soon (for my son) and i am looking for skimmer recommendations. I can't seem to find one used, so I'll probably just buy a new one. I would like to stay in the under $200 range. I was first thinking of a g-1x, but I was looking on custom aquatics site and saw a red sea berlin turbo with pump for $189. I may be using ozone and it says it is ozone safe.
Any pros, cons that anyone may have or suggestions for a better skimmer?

Thanks Kamil, but I'm looking for an in sump model. Don't want anthing showing in the tank.

looks like rup goldberg recirc skimmer to me
I heard good things about the aqua C urchin and they have an outlet store here in SD where you can buy the ugly ones for cheap.

Nice, but the gas for the drive up there and back would cost me another $50 though. I just bought a new g2 . Thanks for all the suggestions. Now that I bout a new one, the deals should be popping up all over the place.

What is the best skimmer for a 12 gallon invert only tank ? I'm getting ready to take the POS canopy off and get some new lights and a backpack skimmer to hangoff the back.
What's the best skimmer performance wise from your guys experience ? And what is the max gph you would go on a 12 gallon tank ?

Remora C and maxi jet 1200.. Skimmer great in my 15G..
