      Hello!

Does anyone have any phyto cultures for sale?

Aquatica in San Marcos usually has the Dinkins Aquatics live Phyto. It's the best I have found

Many commercial cultures for feeding are mixed species, which prevent efficient culturing. I’ve ordered from algae research supply for starter cultures before. They are located in Carlsbad, but only does online sales. Also Mel (Ghost) on here cultures a green alga, that might be your best bet if you are new.

That being said. I don’t think there’s a need to feed maxima clams IMO. Read up on that, or look up l Clam mania out of Huntington Beach. That dude is propagating clams and has a bunch of info online.

Thanks, I'll definitely read up and look into it.

My maxima's about 1-1.5in so I thought they usually require supplemental feeds. Probably outdated knowledge though.
