It just grows too well and cali agriculture or wildlife dept are worried that some may accidentally get into the ocean 🤷*♂️

I used to love the Caulerpa taxifolia, but ya some got into the several years ago and they had to eradicate it.

unfortunately not at the moment
i used to have tons of different kinds when i had a macro only tank up but it’s been a while since the tank was taken down

(think i might make another one again soon)
