Still looking. There must be a shortage of yellow tangs.

Hawaii ban has affected yellow tang availability. There’s plenty on r2r about it including a recent “lift” of the ban and a renewed request for it to be put back. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/ha...-a-ban.965238/. BIOTA has bred them in captivity but they aren’t as vibrant as wild yellow tangs. Both wild & captive have skyrocketed on price due to availability. you can find them on SDR but rarely for any sort of local deal. If by blue tang you mean “Atlantic blue” then they are hard to come by but you can still find them on rare occasion; I’ve been looking for a juv. Atlantic blue for a bit.(Powder blues and hippos are easier to come by)

Thanks dizzy for the explanation. I recently came back in the hobby and didn't know that about Hawaii and yellow tangs. I used to have 3 YT in my tank and miss having them.
